Christians And The War On Halloween

First let me add this disclaimer. I don't hate Christians or any religious group.

What I do hate, is how they try and force their views on everyone and lobby for censorship of anything they don't agree with. Specifically for this post, the subject is Christian's war on Halloween.

Most everyone has had that neighbor who hands out religious pamphlets and pennies instead of candy on Halloween.

I disagree with this kind of pandering to children. If you don't want to give candy, then don't. Shut the front light and don't answer your door. But don't try and plant your beliefs into kids' heads when they're trying to have fun. I'm sure their parents are doing a fine job of screwing them up anyways.

Here is a video illustrating an extreme case of religious lunacy.

Need more evidence that Pat Robertson is a blasphemous hate peddler?

Robertson and cronies blaming Hurricane Katrina on abortion:

Robertson and Jerry Falwell blaming "the abortionists, feminists, gays and lesbians, and the ACLU" for 9/11:

What I hate most about this: Seriously??? Vampire gummy bears and demonic possessed M&M's: sounds delicious. These people belong in the Middle Ages. If Pat Robertson lived in my neighborhood, I'd egg the crap out of his house every Halloween and maybe Christmas too.

  1. But they needed to launch their own war on a holiday after completely making up the fact that there is a war on Christmas every year.
