If you type "what has" into a Google search bar, the first Google query suggestion that appears is "what has Obama done so far."
Is this because people who oppose Obama are constantly wondering what he's doing next to ruin America? Or, perhaps Obama supporters keep checking to see him actually fulfill some of his major campaign promises? Probably both.
Obama opponents have been very vocal since his election, but lately some Obama supporters are seriously wondering when the real "change" was going to come.
Maybe now that this issue ended up on Saturday Night Live, the public attention will grow.
With the previously mentioned congressional super majority, why isn't the ball rolling? Why does it seem like Obama is working hard but nothing is getting accomplished?
Though George Bush set records for vacation time, he had no problems successfully advancing his agenda. If one were to type "George W Bush first year in office" into a Google search bar, some interesting sites come up.
The exact reputability of those sites is unknown to me, but they sound on point. No one stood in Bush's way when he was systematically crapping on American and global communities. In fact, the only turd I can remember Bush not being able to sqeeze through Congress was his social security reform agenda.
Bill Maher commented on these things and more back in June:
What I hate most about this: Bush and Cheney did what they wanted without giving a sh#t what their opposition said. They didn't lend any olive branches and their party backed them up. Enough photo ops Obama, get off my T.V. and get some legislation passed!
