Favre Hate Turns To Love Again

If you type "Brett Favre go away" in a Google search, various sites will show up spewing hatred at Farve to stay away from football after his multiple retirements and returns to the NFL.

It is true, Farve played the whole I'm retired/now I'm not routine into the ground. The media coverage of his retirements and comebacks was unrelenting; Rachel Nichols of ESPN was virtually camped out on his lawn for what seemed like weeks.

Someone put cheesey emo music to a montage of Favre's retirements and returns:

Tears flow when Favre leaves Green Bay:

However, when he left the Jets last season, there were no tears.

So everyone was hating on Favre for his constant waffling. Finally after shoulder surgery and recovery decision was made for him to return to the NFL on his old team's arch rival: the Minnesota Vikings.

Now, the Vikings stand undefeated and after this game winning play:

the old gunslinger everyone was begging to "go away" reclaims his place as one of the most exciting players in the NFL.

What I hate most about this: All the people hating on him (which for once wasn't me) are the same people filling up the airwaves with talks about how great he is again. All kinds of people are cashing in on Favre's return and the indecision that proceeded it, but this commercial is fun:
